Dave

Do you guys know how awesome Dave is? Well- he is. He is funny and smart and creative. I don't know how I got so lucky.
Here we are on our anniversary. I don't know where the years have gone. 10 years seems like a number for old people. And look at those faces... we're not old. Right? ;)
He is most definitely the best daddy around. The kids adore him. You should hear Veda SHREAK when he walks in the door from work. It might be the best thing ever.
Plus we have a little mini-Dave. A little boy with spiky hair who loves adventure and music and jokes. Having one Dave around it awesome, but having 'two' around is even better.
And how could I not be grateful when Dave puts up with my craziness. Like seriously- I'm kinda crazy.
Dave is always up for anything. We ran our first 'race' together last week.
It was a night time race- called the Electric Run. It should have been called the Electric WALK because no one else was running. They would even make fun of us as we ran by. (my dad ran too- but i'll share more about that when I do a post about my parents visit)
Dave is a seriously handsome dude. He works out like crazy and is always trying new things (unlike me... I can only run, and I'm scared to try anything else). He has been an inspiration to me to eat healthier and is a great example of willpower and determination. And he has a hot body to show for it ;)
Plus he tries hard to keep me 'with' it. Talking me into going to comedy shows or concerts that I wouldn't even know of otherwise. Here we are last night at a Demetri Martin show (he's a comedian). The show STARTED at 11 pm... so needless to say it was a little painful for me to try and stay awake. But so fun. I love that he shares things he loves with me. Dave always seems to know what's the new 'cool' band or song or movie. It's awesome.
Here we are at dinner before the comedy show (my parents didn't go to show with us- just to dinner. Someone had to come home and watch the kids since it was so late).
Dave is super supportive of my running, and my craft projects, and silly ideas about decorating. He is always willing to let me have a night out with my friends or a weekend away to do a race. He appreciates my work as a mother and thanks me ALL the time for what I do. I just love him. That's all.

Awww, that was sweet of you. Thanks for the tribute post dude. But YOU'RE the one who's the best at all that stuff, not me. Love you mils!

You're cute. I can't believe you went somewhere at 11 p.m. and it wasn't bed! ha. Miss you guys. Dave made us cooler too . . . now we're just nerds who live in the middle of nowhere and don't know anything about anything . . . tsk tsk.
