and so begins my tons of posts from our trip to michigan. the second day we were there we went to frederick meijer gardens. it was super fun and the kids loved it.

These are in no particular order. Sorry. I don't have the willpower to organize them. Here are a few things we've been up to so far with my family.
On the airplane. We survived it. Thank goodness for truck books. cross your fingers the way home goes as smoothly



LOTS of bubble blowing. Hendrix learned how to say 'bubble,' so what else can we do but to oblidge when he asks?

I know it looks like I'm tickling him... just pretend I'm not. This was Hendrix's reaction when I told him we are going to see Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Julie and Uncle Daine REALLY soon. (he can't wait)

4th of July

I was horrible about taking pictures this weekend. We had Dave's parents and sister with us- and spent a lot of time at Chris and Sarah's. Yet I managed to only take a handful of pictures all weekend. Bummer. Mike/Krystal-- email me your good pictures :)

pouch and train noise

I don't know what it is about a trip that makes me want to sew... we are going to Michigan soon so I've been sewing. I made this for a little treat bag for Quinn on the airplane.

I actually just sewed a ziplock bag on the inside (while I was making the pouch I just pretended it was part of my lining fabric.

crazy pictures.... I had two kids trying to grab it from me. I used THIS tutorial. I've also used THIS tutorial lately-- they are very similar. I didn't take a picture of the bags I made using this tutorial because they are a surprise for someone I am going to see. I would say the MADE zippered pouch turned out just as cute and was slightly easiler

I don't take enough pictures of my kids in pajamas.
Hendrix with some trucks on and some drool. Hendrix is so great. So happy and sweet. And such a good sleeper. And it's SO EASY to get him to belly laugh. I love him to pieces. And tomorrow he is 15 months old.. geesh.

the weekend

We had a busy weekend. We had Chris and Sarah over Sunday afternoon for dinner. I love seeing Quinn and Levi together-- they are too cute

Plus Levi will run around the yard with her-- which gets me out of having to do it

We also had a bbq/swimming with out friends Shawn and Chelsey. Here are Dave and the kids in the pool

After church we realized that Quinn and I matched-- both wearing gray and white-- except I don't have white leggings on-- despite how it looks.
