broken water main

I thought I'd spend my day mopping my floor, cleaning bathrooms, and baking since Veda's birthday party is tomorrow. Instead-- we've been without water for five hours. So instead of getting ready for the party we've been having fun watching big trucks come in and out of the culdesac. I guess I'll bake tomorrow :)
Hopefully we have water by then. And I've learned something valuable... It's a good idea to have some water on hand. Because you never know when you might need it!
