The Birthday Girl
(LOVE Krystal's face in this)
The Food.
(we went with a fruit/veggie theme: carrot cake, mini fruit pizzas, veggies, chips/salsa)
Decorations:
(sorry-- should have done a close up- the top pictures are from her latest photo shoot- and the bottom is a banner of a picture of her every month of her life so far)
Ballons:
I blew up literally 50 balloons. And made Krystal blow up the rest :)
And this cluster of balloons was WAY cuter in the example I was copying. If you do this-- make sure you get big balloons. I got small ones, on accident)
Some of the guests. Sorry, not a picture of everyone that was there. But we had a lot of people come. I had made 28 kid party favor bags and didn't have enough!! Thanks to everyone who came. It really meant a lot. Plus this was probably our last party before we move really far away. So it was a great excuse to get together with some friends one last time!
The birthday cake:
She didn't know what to do with the cake, so we gave her a cupcake instead. She knew exactly what to do with that :)
Too bad there's dirt on her cute little foot.
We couldn't have asked for a more cooperative birthday girl. She was happy and sweet during her entire party. She loved opening presents. (who doesn't??!)
My friends Jana and Courtney got Veda little fairly wings and sunglasses and bracelets. She has loved wearing them. It's cute that she already likes to dress up.
I swear there was a better picture of the whole family, but I'll have to look it up on Dave's computer. But in the meantime-- here's the Kellers:
A big thanks to my brother-in-law Chris for being our photographer for the party. Thanks to him, I'm going to watch what I do with my face more often. And Chris-- were you TRYING to catch me with a weird look on my face??! Here are some examples:
You're welcome for sharing this one:
Happy Birthday to our sweet Veda!! Here's to many more birthdays this month!!

Thanks again for inviting me. As always you are the queen at throwing parties. I pinned your banner of Veda in my ideas for future events for the boys!
The treats were so yummy -- loved the fruit pizza! If I'd known the cupcakes were carrot ones I would have had one. :) I was trying to be good. So glad I got to be a part of it.
Love,
Gabrielle

I'm so sorry we didn't make it. Tom's mom ended up coming and we spent the day with her. We would have loved to see you though!
