visit from Krystal

We had a visit from Dave's sister- Krystal! We had such a fun time with her. We are so glad she came all the way from Salt Lake to see us. Here's what we did to show her a good time:

Zilker Zephyr

We went downtown and rode the train at Zilker Park

 Verts.
We met Dave for lunch by his office one day.

 Round Rock Donuts
What's a visit to Round Rock without hitting up the best donut shop ever?

 The Alamo
Me and Krystal went to a movie one night. We were very excited. And ate WAY too much junk food.

 Date night!
We got a sitter one night and headed downtown.
We got more donuts- This time from Gourdoughs

 And went and saw the Austin bats. It was my first time seeing the bats-- it was AWESOME

 Then went and got some ice cream from a place called Lick. Hence Dave licking my forehead...

It was nice to have someone around to take a picture of all 5 of us. So we took advantage and took a serious family photo

 Labor Day
We went to the pool

 There was a little snake in the pool... gross

 Allisa came with us to the pool. So fun

 Then we went to Rudy's for lunch. You can't come to Texas without having some BBQ

 This sign is really funny-- since Dave is 95% vegetarian

 It was so fun to have her here. Nice to have someone around to catch me at my finest mothering moments.
