Julie tried to give her a drink of water from a bottle..she thought she wanted it.
But..once she tasted it, she changed her mind.
Her first solid food!! We tried some rice cereal...and I think her face pretty much says it all.

4 month old!! (almost)
Quinn will be 4 months old on Friday! We can hardly believe it. She had her 4 month doctor appointment this morning (notice the bandaids on her legs from her shots!) She's getting big, ha....she is a whopping 11 pounds 3 ounces. The funny part is that she is in the 5th percentile for her weight, but in the 75th percentile for her head! What can we say, she's got a big head...

Kisses for the fish
Walker
Rick and Linda gave us a walker for Quinn. It's been sitting in the corner of her closet, so I decided to stick her in it while I hung up her clothes. I had to put a couple of blankets around her because she isn't quite steady yet. She liked it--although I realized her feet were a good 7 inches from the floor!
I was going to take her out and lower the legs of the walker, but Quinn seemed happy to just dangle there, so I left it!

Bedtime...
Will you take a look at that hair?? It doesn't get much better! We though she looked so sweet last night after her bath we couldn't help taking a few pictures. I just love a clean sleepy baby. We've been trying to get her to stay up a little later--she's been wanting to fall asleep early this week (sometimes 5:30!)
Mom reading her a book from Grandma Keller. Thanks Grandma!
This was Quinn this morning...I thought she just looked cute. It is really cute when Dad's around--Quinn ALWAYS has smile for him! Even if she knows he's in the room, she looks around until she sees him and gives him a smile. What a lucky dad!

Two things she normally hates...
Quinn is definately a girl--she changes her mind all the time! She has always hated a binky and made a yucky face if we tried to give it to her. There have been days where she lets us stick it in her mouth, but she refuses to suck on it....not this day! She was sucking away like a pro! I thought she looked cute and chubby in this picture.
Here she is in her swing that I was convinced was a big waste of money. She seemed to like the toys we recently added. She enjoys them more now that she can reach out and touch them. Look at that sweet little face.

Quinn's car seat
As many of you know, Quinn HATES the car. She screams the whole time whenever we go anywhere. Some people have asked me if I've tried putting toys on her carseat....well...take a look! She unfortunately, still screams her head off. You'd think she'd eventually put herself to sleep, but she never does. She cries the whole way while I'm either crying as well or belting out "popcorn popping."

Play Time
Quinn loves this little fish toy. It seems to be her modivation for keeping her head up a lot of the time.
Her first reaches! She actually picked up the phone, but the picture I took had her head cut all the way off. She hasn't really been reaching a lot until the last couple of days.
This is what happens after a few minutes of playing on her tummy...she gets too tired to hold up her head!

We have grass!
Just wanted everyone to see Dave's hard work! We planted grass seed a few weeks ago and it was finally long enough to mow. From far away it looks great--although up close we have quite a few weeds. We are happy with how well it's done--if you notice on the right we have a few bare spots, but hopefully it will fill in soon. Dave's been working really hard on our landscaping!
