Hendrix for Hendrix

Aunt Krystal got Hendrix this t-shirt.... too cute, huh??

I was trying to get a picture of Krystal reading books to Quinn... but Quinn didn't want me to.

Hendrix looking cute with the new cars he got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Keller. They've been here the last few days to spend Christmas with us and Chris and Sarah. I've been horrible about taking pictures of the whole gang though.

now it's a Merry Christmas!!!

this was what the poor girl looked like all day yesterday. she was either sleeping on one of us... puking... or in the bath.

but she's feeling much better today!!!

she's finally playing with and enjoying her new toys

... and Hendrix's new toys

and a picture of Hendrix. I think we have another pea-lover on our hands!! (They were always Quinn's favorite food as a baby.)

CHRISTMAS!!

Hendrix had an awesome Christmas!!

Santa, Grandma and Grandpa Stevens, and his Aunt Julie loaded him up with some great boy toys!!!

Helping daddy construct his car ramp

Quinn's Christmas has been not quite as great as her brothers. Here's the only smiling picture we got of her... bummer. Shortly after opening presents we decided to take her temperature since she had felt warm since she woke up. Sure enough... temp of 103.8.... then the throwing up began. It's been a day of lots of laundry/baths/showers/and changes of clothes.

Here's a cute video of her getting a present from Santa. I love her little dance in the middle...

despite the sudden onset of the flu hopefully Quinn will remember today with happy memories!! she was so sweet and exited about today... poor girl

Christmas Eve

We had a little Christmas Eve party with Chris, Sarah, Caleb, Ellie, Levi, and Krystal.

In the middle of the prayer when we were blessing the food Quinn started (loudly) getting after her cousins for not closing their eyes...
(I took this picture right AFTER the prayer by the way.... I don't usually snap pictures in the middle of a prayer)

Quinn decorating a cookie

When you put on that many sprinkles what else can you do but lick it off??

leaving a cookie and milk for Santa. I think she would have rather eaten it...

hendrix and prancing quinn

I was trying to video Hendrix walking with the bike... but Quinn sort of steals the show with this one. She has been a feisty little two-year-old lately, but things like this remind me how much I love her!! and oh yeah-- watch Hendrix go with the bike!!

Snow

Some pictures of Quinn enjoying the fresh snow this morning.

Christmas....

Merry Christmas from this little guy. All he wanted was his two front teeth... doesn't look like Santa's coming through on that one.

Quinn and Dave... iphones are fun for the whole family?

Happy Anniversary to my Davey

Happy Anniversary Dave!!! Thanks for the best 7 years of my life. Can't wait for the next 1,999,000,887,000 years to come!

Thanks for showing our kids the world

And sharing with them your love of four-wheelers

And teaching Quinn how to flip the bird

Thanks for having such a fun sense of humor. You are hil-ar-i-ous. you make me laugh all the time.

Thanks for humoring me and growing your hair out every couple of years. You are HOTT both ways.

Thanks for being such a passionate person. I love that you can't live without four-wheelers, music, art, movies, and salsa.

Thanks for passing your stunning good looks along to our kids. They get at least 89% of their cuteness from you.

Thanks for teaching our kids to do adventurous things. Without you around, there would be no wrestling, being thrown on the couch, or trying anything even remotely scary.

thanks for teaching our kids to laugh and be mellow... I think we both know that she might have gotten this from me:

thanks for sharing life's best moments with me

Last but not least, thanks for being my best friend. I love you more and more.

SANTA!!!

The kids got to sit on Santa's lap at our ward Christmas party this morning. I still don't know how I got Quinn to let go of me...
Afterwards when I was putting her in the car to go home she said "He's not so bad, mom!" (Santa)

Hendrix and the big man

(I'm sadly regretting that I didn't notice Hendrix's pants looking like capris and needing to be pulled down--especially that first picture with both of them...)

date night

we went out on a date with Jason and Christy last night. We ate a restaurant called the Tavern (excellent food, by the way). Here we all are.... happy smiling parents eating without kids around. (except Dave, who is clearly not enjoying himself)

it was a sort-of anniversary celebration for Dave and I since our anniversary is coming up. Hence the kiss :)
