Another dress

You'd think I have nothing better to do than sew for Quinn...and I wonder why my house is never clean. This one I made all by myself--if you don't count the two frantic calls to my mom.

And yes...I really have made 46 blog posts this month.

Just cute

Quinn has been sucking on her lower lip again lately. I think she can feel her little teeth when she does that.

New hair style

Here's a serious Quinn watching me blow dry my hair. So the other night Dave says to me "I think Quinn needs a new hair style." That just proves I'm not the only one who is thinking about her hair all the time! She has a cow lick in the back that always sticks up--especially if she has pig tails in. I think it was bugging Dave. What can you do? When she naps four times a day her hair doesn't stay perfect! So here she is without her piggies in (you can't unfortunately see the cute matching turquoise clip in the front)...I think it lasted a few hours before I put her piggies in anyway.

She would much rather play with her shoes than wear them...go figure

House and Lawn

Using this cool trick I just learned in photoshop I made these panoramics of our house and lawn so everyone could see how great our lawn looks almost 4 months after seeding. It's not perfect and there are still some bare spots and about 15% is weeds, but I'm still pretty happy with it.
And here's from the back corner, standing behind the garden, which has produced about 10 zucchinis - nice work Am and Quinners.

Poor teething baby

Here's Dad and Quinn. Dave gave me a break last night from the fussy baby...you can't help but feel sorry for her, huh?

Jumper

Here's Quinn in a little Jumper. She liked it and could even touch the floor if she had shoes on!

She was having a hard time finding a great spot to gnaw on.

Sweatshirt

I have been wanting to buy Quinn this sweatshirt since I saw it at Old Navy a few weeks ago. I've even kept thinking about it and was going to buy it after it went on sale. Then I started worrying that her size would be gone if I waited...so I took Dave to show him and we bought it. Dave can never say no when it comes to Quinn! About five minutes after these pictures she spit up all over it and I had to take it off....bummer.

The dress

Here's little Quinner in the dress I made. It is probably a little to big for her right now, but by the time she gets to wear it again it will probably fit great!

Rolling

Quinn rolls over and over until she hits a wall. It's always funny, so we took a picture. Of course that's Dave rolling with her. Here she is hitting the wall.

Cute Quinn

This one was funny--it looks like she is whistling. You can tell Dave took the picture--her hoodie isn't zipped or pulled down (I would have thought of that). But she looks awfully cute. Thanks Ellie for loaning Quinn your shoes!!

Look what I made!!!!

I haven't made anything with a pattern without my mom, so I thought I'd try. So instead I had my friend Audra help me--I'm not as domestic as you all think. Anyway, here it is. It turned out pretty cute. A picture of Quinn modeling it is sure to come.

Whoa...

This blurry picture was our attempt to take a picture of Quinn's mouth!! Yep, she has a little tooth coming in!! It's hard to see in the picture, but I can definately feel it when I touch her gums. Poor girl, she hasn't been too happy lately. Audra came over yesterday to help me sew and she made the discovery. I don't think I knew what I was looking for, but as soon as I tried to feel it, I felt something sharp! As soon as it pokes through we'll try another picture.

So I wanted to dress Quinn up extra cute last night to go out with some friends..she wouldn't hold still unless I gave her my cell phone. She held still but wouldn't look at me no matter how many crazy noises I made.

Baby GAP?

I know what you are thinking--you're asking yourself where I found Quinn this super cute onesie. I made it!! Leslie and I made some onesies for the girls this weekend and this is one of the three cute shirts I made. Not bad, huh?

Paul, Leslie, Clint, and Evie came to Boise for a visit this weekend. Here are the girls--they are only 5 days apart.

Leslie and I surprised the boys by bringing them home in matching outfits. Cute babies, huh?

Happy 5 months!!!

Can you believe that Quinn is five months old today? Time has sure flown by. This picture pretty much sums it up....she is cute and funny and getting quite the personality. She seems to have a little sptifire in her, which I don't know where it comes from! Diaper changes are a wrestling match now that she is rolling all over the place. She is always reaching for something--anything that she can get her hands on. She still cuddly, but only right when she wakes up. She loves to play and gets more active everyday. Happy 5 months Quinner!!

Bumbo

Quinn playing in her Bumbo seat. She was actually laughing, but since she had the toy in her mouth you can't really see. (Julie just got us this tray for her seat so she doesn't have to reach to the floor anymore!)

Another miracle

I've been struggling lately with the best way to get Quinn to go to sleep. Last night she REFUSED to go to sleep until 10 pm--which is 2 hours later than normal. But the GREAT news is that she stayed asleep until 5:15 am!!!! That hasn't happened for a long time--it was a very nice night for a tired mom!

Bath time

This is a picture of Quinn getting her very first bath back in March...she didn't seem to like it that much.

So I decided to try to put pig tails in Quinn's hair this morning....Here she is looking really excited about it. She's even got a little bit of spit up on her lip. I figured all of her cousins had spit up pictures, she might as well too...
