New baby!!

Our good friends, Jake and Kelsey, had their baby!!! A GORGEOUS little girl. I finally got to see her last night--I just love her already!

I have been growing my hair out FOREVER!!! Seriously though--since before we got pregnant with Quinn. It still isn't even that close to how long I want it. Sometimes I reminisce about my cute short hair. What do you think it cuter--long or short? Be honest.

Grandma and Grandpa Keller came over for a visit this weekend. I should take a picture of all the landscaping we did!! Our yard is looking awesome. Before they left they wanted to take a family photo--this was the best one from our camera--hopefully they got a better one on theirs!!!

I don't know what to say to explain this video....um....she LOVES the challenge of walking about with something on her head or shoulders...so she is wearing the bag I just made. She's saying 'open,' if you can't tell--then 'cracker.' then 'dada.' She's a nut!!

13 months!!

Quinn is 13 months old!! It's been so much fun since she got over her flu--she has been so happy. She walks ALL over the place, laughs all the time, and talks NON-stop. She also got her great appetite back....what a life.

She had a 'weight check' at the doctor's this week....she's still 15 pounds!! So much for fattening her up. Having the flu right before her weight check didn't help!

Hooray!! Healthy baby!!

It has been five long days with a baby with the flu and she is FINALLY better!! What a great day. Here she is looking super cute and ready to finally leave the house after being cooped up for so long.

"Open"

Quinn can say 'open.' She says it a lot--she wants me to open all sorts of things....doors, cabinets, gates, ziplock bags--pretty much anything we are trying to keep her out of. This time she wanted me to open the Pediasure...over and over again. At least I could get her to take a sip in between the openings...she probably needs the nutrition since she's been so sick!! ( i love the milk mustache)

If she could say 'please,' right here she'd be saying "please open."

We got Quinn this magnet toy for the fridge. It plays music--right here she is dancing, but unfortunately it's just a snapshot...so imagine her little legs bouncing up and down.

Here are some adorable pictures of Quinn sporting some pigtails yesterday. We've been home sick since Sunday--poor girl. Hopefully she is almost better!

enjoying the weather

The weather on Saturday was perfect, so we took advantage and hung outside for a long time. We went to the park and for a walk and then decided to just put a blanket on the lawn and bring out some toys for Quinn. What a fun day!

Going down steps

Quinn has become a pro at going down the steps. I wish that she would take her time more....it's like she's trying to go as fast as she can. The end of this video is funny..you can tell she knows the drill.

Pay attention to her little laugh at the very end...she's funny. And yes--this is the balloon from Kelsey's baby shower like 3 weeks ago. Quinn uses it to stand up all the time, and also pushes it around the bonus room. Best $1.50 anyone ever spent

We had a hard time catching a video of Quinn walking this weekend. It turns out it has to be HER idea. If we stand her up and try to have her walk she gets MAD. But if she happens to be standing near something and she wants to go...she goes. Super cute. Here are just a couple steps....don't blink, you might miss them.

Hooray! It's Spring!!

We went to the park today...the weather is finally amazing. We've been to the park lots of times, but Quinn hasn't ever really 'played' before. Here she is trying out the slide.

Fun Facts

I thought I'd tell you all some things about Quinn right now since I haven't for a while:

Her favorite toy is her bike (she gets really excited when she sees it. She can run and steer amazingly well. She even goes 'beep, beep.' super cute.
She LOVES prunes. For obvious reasons I only let her have one...but it is never enough--she would probably eat the whole bag if I'd let her
She is a GREAT eater. Sometimes I swear she eats more than I do. Pretty amazing for a shrimpy girl.
She weighs 15 pounds 2 ounces
She is hilarious...getting her dadd'y's sense of humor I guess
She can say: happy, apple, ball, baby, daddy, mommy, beep, up, woof, aachooo, and daalabebebelabe
She is ALMOST sleeping through the night. She was for a while, but then we started her on an allergy medicine that messed everything up...but we are confident that she will go back to sleeping all night again....soon.
Despite being a good sleeper at night she has always been a HORRIBLE napper
She loves to see pictures of people. (we have a picture of Caleb,Ellie, and Levi on the fridge....we should get a video of how sweetly she smiles when i point and say their names)
She is better in the car, but still no angel. The only thing that keeps her happy are snacks...so I try to not give her any before we leave so she is still hungry for the food I pass back to her.

We took a picture of all three of us on Sunday. It seems rare to have all of us in a picture since there is rarely someone else around to take the picture. Too bad Quinn isn't looking at the camera.
