Baby boy

Here he is! Just look at that sweet face :)

It's a....

We had our ultrasound today and found out we are having a BOY!!! The pictures are downstairs, so I will post one of the cute little guy a little later. But trust me, he is SUPER cute. The ultra-sound tech AND the doctor both said that he was the most photo-genic babies they have seen in a long time. It's a good thing...because his mama likes to blog :)

Decorating our pumpkin

Quinn's Aunt Julie sent her a foam sticker set to decorate her pumpkin. She really wanted to pull the stickers OFF instead of putting them on, so I helped her...a lot.

I love the double finger point...haha. Where did she learn that? I think she was pointing out his nose....



I told her to go stand by her pumpkin and she actually did! But she failed to make the super cute smile I told her to do also. One out of two isn't bad.

Here's a little taste of the family pictures we had done on Saturday. I'm sure Dave will get his hands on these and make them better...maybe without my red nose (it was pretty chilly Saturday morning). But I thought these ones turned out cute!!

Yesterday we were at the grocery store walking into the produce section when out of nowhere Quinn says 'banana.' the whole word!! She usually just says 'baba.' it is so cute i thought i'd get it on video.

Another day at the Pumpkin Patch

Big Mess

You can tell I've been sewing when my craft room looks like this! You can even see the overwhelmed look on Quinn's face when we walked in there this morning...


Cute outfit, huh?? I've been waiting FOREVER for this dress to fit her. I got it when she was a newborn because it was SO CUTE. It's really hard to find baby stuff in black...it was a great find. Plus I think it was only 97 cents at Target. I would have paid a lot more than that!!!

I know this picture is blurry....but it was too cute to pass up. Quinn likes to pretend to take a nap--here she is doing that while we sat on the futon together reading books.

This is a little bit better picture of my baby bump. That picture from the pumpkin patch made me look bigger than I am (I think it was the shirt...when I wore it around my mom, she told me to suck in!!!).

New bag

My friend April loaned me a pattern book last weekend--it has this bag pattern in it--cute huh?

I've had a couple people ask me about which pattern book this is from: Winsome Baby, Art to Heart by Nancy Halvorsen. There area probably at least 5 other CUTE things I want to make from this book!!

I feel like I've been horrible about taking pictures this week! Yesterday we went to the park with Sarah and Ellie and Levi. Quinn saying names

HEre is a video of Quinn saying some names yesterday. Sorry if she didn't say your name, it's hard to think of them on the spot! I just tried to think of people she's seen lately. I love how she comes up with 'Sarah' on her own--and how when I ask her to say 'mommy' she also says 'amber'--and how she just refuses to say 'grandma.'

All dressed up

Look at our big girl!! She is helping me unload the dishwasher after church (since my housekeeper went home to Michigan yesterday) She is actually wearing a dress that my mom got her--so cute on her, huh?

Last day with my mom

My mom left this morning....so sad. Here are Quinn and 'Marcia' reading books together.

My stroller quilt all done!!! To tell you the truth, I haven't worked on it for a long time because I was frustrated that it wasn't turning out that cute. Then my mom started working on it, and it magically got cuter!!! Thanks mom for working so hard to finish it.

Here it is on a stroller. It ties around the handles and buttons up on the bottom to make a little pocket for their feet....cute huh??

A necklace I made yesterday

Here is my mom working on a stroller quilt that I started months ago. From this tutorial. I will put up a picture when it is all done--it's turning out great since my mom got her hands on it.

can you believe this closet is empty?? It was jam packed with storage (I should have taken a before picture) but we emptied it to prepare the room for baby.

And oh yeah---my sweet, thoughtful, amazing, husband got me this for my birthday.
