Crib info

I've had a couple of you ask me where I got my patterns for the stuff I made for the crib--here are the links!!
The crib skirt (I did alter this pattern a little. I thought it was silly to put all of that cute fabric underneath the mattress--so the whole middle section of mine is just out of cheap muslin)
The bumper (I actually didn't use this pattern because it didn't work with the insert I had--but it was the one I was going to use...)
And the blog that had the tutorial for the crib rail protectors just took it off so she could sell it...bummer. But if any of you are ever going to make one, let me know, and I will send you the measurements that I used to make mine. I've made 3, so I could remember and tell you how to do the whole thing!! It is pretty easy to make, and I think it looks cute on the crib!

Quinn's sweater

I'm sure there could be worse things that Quinn wanted to wear all the time. If she sees this sweater she wants it ON!!
So here she is in her pajamas and a sweater...


And have I mentioned that this is my life now?? Being dragged around by my finger?! EVERYWHERE she goes....she has to have 'mommy too.'

This seems to be her new perch lately...sitting in her rocking chair to look at books. Super cute, except for that I have to keep handing them to her. When she's standing somewhere else to look at books she can get them herself.

And of course....a nose scrunch picture :)

baby boy's crib

The crib is all done!! Kind of funny actually, since he probably won't be in it for another 6 months...but at least no one can tell me I'm not prepared :) I made almost everything you see--the bumper, the crib rail protectors, and the crib skirt. (not the crib or the mattress, but they are cute too)

And like everything else that's for the baby...Quinn thinks this is HER bed.

30 weeks!!

Here is my belly. Sometimes it's hard to believe I'm 30 weeks already. As you can see, Dave and I were in a silly mood last night when we took these...

I think I look normal in these first two, but the last one I look huge!!! I've gained 22 pounds, so I think I'm going to overshoot my 27 pound goal....oops.

I was tagged like two weeks ago and am just now getting around to it---but see Chelsey--I told you I would do it :)

I've been photo tagged. I am supposed to take pictures of these few things just as they are, no cleaning, altering, or making adjustments to... so here goes...I might have cheated a LITTLE. I think I left out two rooms because they were just too messy for me to document.

And what would this post be without what I made for the baby??? This is a rag quilt I made for the little guy. My mother-in-law made one for Quinn and it was our FAVORITE nighttime nursing blanket...this one isn't big enough for that, but I'm sure we'll use it anyway!

This was a pattern from the Winsome Baby book--but it was the most ridiculous pattern EVER...I basically had to just make it up myself when it came to putting it together.
