Hat

Quinn sometimes likes to wear hats. She found this cute one in her closet today and walked around for a while with it on....but ALL the way on--over her face.

oh--and have I mentioned that I have a little girly-girl on my hands? She always wants to wear a skirt lately. It's really cute actually. She gets mad when I'm getting her dressed unless I show her that it's a skirt. I found her these adorable boots this weekend too--I'll have to get them in a picture.

First snow!

One more picture from yesterday. It wouldn't upload yesterday and it was the cutest picture--so here it is :) my sweet girl and her daddy.

We got a little bit of snow last night that actually stuck around. Quinn asked to go outside ALL day to make a snowman. The funny part--is that when we were getting all bundled up to go outside and make a snowman, Quinn said that she just wanted to 'buy one.' hehe...where does she learn this stuff?
All bundled up and ready to go outside!!

It wasn't exactly packing snow, so we made a mini-snowman.

helping daddy....

Cute little snowman, huh?

Dave and Quinn made mommy a heart in the snow with their footprints

SANTA

Quinn saw Santa today.

this was pretty much her reaction the whole time...at least she wasn't crying.

Quinn still likes to pretend to nap...she always wants a blankie. Here she is on the kitchen floor while I was cooking dinner

Stroller

Quinn managed to fit in her baby's stroller this morning...she thought it was pretty fun.

I sure do love this little girl! She is so stinking cute and sweet (most of the time). I could just squeeze her all day long :)

A few of the ornaments I've made the last few days. I made the big one with my friend April and have made a few more since then since they are so fun to make! I have two more almost done, so maybe I'll take a picture when I'm done with those too...especially since this photo isn't very good.

busy day

We got a package from Grandma and Grandpa Stevens today. They sent stickers--she had a blast transferring them from my legs to her legs and back again.

The CUTE dress her Grandpa made her.

I was trying to get a picture of her and her baby...I didn't really succeed. They have matching dresses...yes, I said MATCHING dresses--my mom made her baby one with the leftover fabric....I'll get a better pic

I whipped up this bag today for a present exchange we have at church tomorrow night. It turned out so cute I'll have a hard time giving it up. Thanks for the fabric, Cheryl--look familiar?

okay--so this was taken last night. She emptied her ENTIRE toy box and brought us all the toys. Notice how clean the rest of the room looks?

Drumroll please....

Quinn is ON THE GROWTH CHART!! Not that the growth chart is all that important to me--it just is to her doctors! So woo hoo for Quinn!! She is a whopping 21 pounds!
Quinn has also started saying 'love it.' For instance--Quinn had never tried syrup before...and the other night we had waffles for dinner. I was feeling nice so I put a drop of syrup on her waffle....and she said 'love it.' It's quite funny. Anyway--today the doctor brought Quinn some juice after her torture was over as a peace offering. I put some in her sippy cup, and she looked at me and said 'love it.' The crazy thing is that she usually HATES juice and won't drink it....but today, she loved it. It must have just seemed a lot better than having her poop tested.

And here's her baby brother...sticking WAY out---I don't think this picture does me justice.

More Christmas crafts

I started this Santa tray LAST Christmas, and just finished it. Actually it's not 100% finished, but close enough that I thought I would use it for this Christmas. Not that Quinn will understand the concept of leaving Santa cookies and milk yet--but still cute :)

This is a santa picture I made with my friend Allison. I still need to mount it on something (this was a temporary canvas that is too big).

Quinn singing her 'abc's'

Quinn has been SO FUN LATELY!!! Yesterday she was doing a puzzle and I started crying..haha. She is just learning so much and understanding so much that it makes our whole day fun.
I have been trying so hard to get Quinn to count or say her abc's while I'm filming, but she's starting to clam up more when I turn on the camera. She is AWESOME at her abc's from P on--this video is the best one I've gotten, but still not great...

Quinn's sweet Grandpa Stevens

My dad MADE THIS for Quinn!!! He just finished it last night and showed me the picture--I can't wait to have her wear it for Christmas!!! I'm sure you all wonder where I get my craftiness--I obviously get it from my mom AND dad :)

Christmas countdown

Here it is!! My calendar is 99% finished. I still have to work on the edges and do a star, but since it's December already we decided to hang it up!

Cute huh? It's not Pottery Barn, but that's ok. Quinn doesn't know the difference anyway--she just knows that she found a pot of play doh in one of the pockets this morning :)

Someone please remind me next time I try to make something this big....it took me FOREVER. The pockets were really fun to do, but the rest of it was hard. It was hard to small things onto something so huge.

It was worth the work though--and thanks to everyone for their ideas. And my dad--who made the numbers for me!!

Thanksgiving weekend

We're back! I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures from our trip to Blackfoot.
Here's the one happy picture of Quinn in the pool. She didn't really like the water--she said 'all done' after 5 minutes and didn't want to get back in.

Dave's sweet form

But she did look cute in her swimsuit!!!

We went to go see some horses on Saturday. We were trying to get the babies to hold hands...Levi was all for it and would reach out his hand to her, but she just wanted to take off.

We don't really know where she was going...

She was super excited when we first saw the horses, then I think she got too cold and just wanted to go back to grandma's.

Grandma and Grandpa Keller gave the kids their Christmas presents since we won't see them this year on Christmas. Krystal got Quinn this huge elephant--Quinn loves to lay right on top of it.

Here she is checking out all her new toys and books.

Some kids relaxing before Thanksgiving dinner.
