Hendrix James Keller

He's finally here!! Hendrix James was born on March 30th at 3:43 p.m. Here are some pictures of our cute little guy!!

Mommy and Hendrix....we had quite a day!!! Here are the highlights:
I had my water broken at 8:30 am
I got a bunch of pitocin before deciding that i needed an epidural (it worked this time!!!)
Hendrix had his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck TWICE
After some scary minutes with a low heart rate the doc used a vacuum

A very happy mommy and daddy that their little boy made it safe and sound

Quinn's birthday party

We waited to have a party for Quinn's birthday until my mom was here to celebrate with us. Here is my cute little 2-year-old

My mom gets here today!!! Quinn and I are both VERY excited!! I mentioned a few days ago to Quinn that Grandma Marcia was coming over soon. Since then, a few times a day she will say "Grandma and Grandpa come over today." Today is FINALLY the day!! We have to wait another week or so for Grandpa to get here, but hopefully having Grandma to play with will distract her a little bit! And distract me too--since I need to keep my mind off having this baby!!! Sorry no pics--I'm sure I'll post some soon.

last hurrah...

Our friends, Clint and Emma, came to Boise for the weekend. We got a sitter and took advantage of what might have been our last date night for a while. We went to dinner and played games at an arcade.

Quinn's Aunt Julie sent her a present for her birthday. Dave was great enough to tape the experience...she is so funny :)

Last night I asked Quinn what she wanted to do for her birthday, and she told me that she wanted to walk around the park. Of course, we indulged her!! We even got her cousins to come with us!!

Quinn is getting a lot braver with what she'll actually do at the park. She even went down a slide today without holding mine or Dave's hand!!

getting spoiled

We've been anxiously waiting for this package from my parents...it came today and we had TONS of fun opening it!!! Here's the proof!!

Quinn got this sweatshirt with kitty pockets....in this picture she is saying 'MEOW!!!'

She's also really good at saying 'zip it up.'
