hair

okay.... I need about 30 of you to tell me how much you like my long hair before I do something drastic... like this:

I don't know if I'm just in a rut... feeling old... feeling frumpy... or what. but I see pictures of me like this:

and forget why I've spent the last 3 years growing my hair back out. seriously... it has taken me three years to get it back, am I really ready to commit to that?? or will I love it short and be grateful to not have my kids ripping my hair out all day?

oh my gosh I LOVE having short hair and that picture of your hair short is CUTE! but I also love your hair long. So basically, I am no help at all! LOL

I always have a tough time with that. Preston makes fun of me how many times I have grown my hair out just to cut it! I wish there was a way we could have long or short hair on demand and have the ability to change whenever we wanted to! Sorry... prob not any help here. You'd look fabulous which ever way.

Short is cute but maybe you should start out with layering it while it's long. Its fun getting a new hair style. Sometimes it is the most action a mommy gets.

I don't know if I'm going to be much help either. I LOVE your short hair and your LONG hair. I always have to change something on myself. So i've been short for a year and LOVE my hair, but I'm growing it out again. SO hmm. If you're needing a change, just do it. But Long hair is nice and warm for the winter. so maybe wait till summer again?! I don't know, good luck!

I'm also probably not a lot of help. You look so great with both, but it does seem a shame to chop off all that beautiful work! I don't do long hair well, but I keep trying. Mostly, I grow it out just so I can chop it off in the summer and have it feel super different. I think the suggestion to layer it first is a good one if you just need a change but don't want to commit quite yet.

BTW, I've secretly wanted to copy your "light in front" style. Way cute and just perfectly "different" - I love it.

don't ask me, you know what i'm going to say. . . CUT IT. lol. I know how hard it was and how long it took to grow it out, but you have plenty of years to grow it again if you hate it, right? hehehe. . . I know, I'm the devil. Sorry!

I like short. But I've told you that before. I am also not much help. :) Mine is back short again and I must admit...I love the ease. But you look great no matter what, so if you're up for something new and fun...then chop it! If not, then leave it long and you'll just keep looking great:) what does dave think?

Hmm...I am with everyone else. You look fabulous either way. I would start off just cutting off a bit and see if that helps, and if it doesn't, go for the short do.

Could you donate some of it to Locks of Love or something? I know that they won't take dyed hair, but it looks like most isn't dyed.

Having helped Amanda shave her head on multiple occasions, my preference for short hair shouldn't really come as a surprise. Save the shampoo and cut the hair off.

I might as well not add one more useless comment:(

Mine won't be useless. Keep it long for the winter. Then when it is spring and you are really wanting a change, cut it then! Keep it and then you will really know by like April if you want to cut it!! See I can be very helfpul. :)

I think you look beautiful either way, but maybe it's time for a change again. I do that myself--grow it out and then cut it off every few years just to shake things up again. That's the great thing about hair--it grows back!
