4th of July 2011

Happy 4th of July!! Quinn has gotten a love of holidays from me... she was concerned that we didn't have decorations to put up. So I made a pom-pom garland. here's a lousy picture of it.

We spent the afternoon with Chris and Sarah. We went to Eagle Island State Park. It was super fun. The kids had fun the water and playing in the sand, and we had a picnic. What a wonderful way to spend a summer day. We sure love Chris and Sarah and their kids-- they are pretty great. We are lucky to live so close to them and be able to spend days like this with them!!

he also did an awesome job at keeping his hat on. (it helps that he JUST got it in the mail from Aunt Julie-- he thought it was pretty cool-- and also he thinks it's a cowboy hat
