cute kids and recipes

wow. Where have I been all week? Here are some pics from today.

Making Hendrix give me a kiss :)
 wow. He's one cute kid.
Look at her--- sharing already :)

Quinn was around today too. She's a master at avoiding the camera.

I thought I'd share a recipe with you. I always see new recipes that I'd like to try, but most of the time they have ingredients I don't have. But this one has stuff that I always have around (plus Dave likes it a lot, so that's a plus). I think I got it from THIS website.

Honey Salsa Chicken
4 Chicken breasts (I usually cut mine in thin strips)
1/2 cup honey
1/8 cup mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 cup salsa
1 Tbs. soy sauce
mix sauce, pour over chicken. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve over brown rice.

Want a good cookie recipe?? of course you do. Double Chocolate Oatmeal cookies. Make them with peanut butter chocolate chips. You won't regret it :)

Veda is so cute how she puts her bottom lip out like she is concentrating so hard on something. And at the ripe old age of 10 months already accessorizing so well with the necklace and little pony tail on top of her head. Yes, Hendrix is a cute kid. Thanks for the recipes. I already made the cookies and Dad likes them (and I like them too much).

I made the chicken for supper tonight! THANKS. I put the whole breasts in the crock pot with the sauce, then cooked them on high for about 4 hours, took them out, shredded them, then put them back in the sauce on low until it was time to eat. AMAZING. It was really, really good. I think we'll have the leftovers taco-style tomorrow night. Love a new recipe. I'm scared to try the cookies, I might eat them all.
