Thanksgiving kick-ball

The morning of Thanksgiving we met some other families for a friendly game of kick-ball-- and cinnamon rolls/hot chocolate. It was a little chilly-- so here's me and Veda (with one mitten)
A view of the exciting game.

Quinn hated every moment of the festivities. Sorry, Quinn. There were too many people, and it was cold.
Hendrix liked it though. He even got to kick first. AND he discovered hot chocolate for the first time. (And that darling little girl in the background is actually in my primary class at church. I LOVE her)
I think Hendrix drank three refills of hot chocolate.
 "Nope mom... only two"
"hmm.. maybe three. Or was it four?"
It was a really fun way to spend Thanksgiving morning. I'm kinda sad we won't be around next Thanksgiving if everyone does it again. Or maybe we can organize our own game in AUSTIN. :)

Wow...Austin! What an adventure! They are going to be sooooo lucky to have the Keller clan there.

I'm with you X. There's just about nothing that can compete with a good cup of hot chocolate when you're cold!

Kickball sounds fantastic! Maybe I should start that tradition here....

They do a flag football game here in our Ward on Thanksgiving morning. Seems like an excuse to not help with the cooking? It looks like you were all frozen with all the rosy cheeks. Great to burn off a few calories on a day when you're going to eat a lot.

I love how seemingly opposite Quinn and Hendrix are. It makes me want a boy even more! He's so freaking awesome, and knows the good stuff!
