rockets
i guess we like rockets around here. see?

and I just finished this for the play room wall. it's the lyrics to Rocket Man. It has more significance than just that it's about rockets-- it's a song that Dave has always sung to the kids. (even before Rocket) So when we were picking a song to put on wall, Rocket Man seemed like a cute option.
you better all tell me how incredibly cool this is because it took me a LOT of work. just kidding.. you don't have to tell me. but it really did take me a LONG time. There are a few parts that bug me that I want to fix and I still need to add a couple things to the right hand side, but it was enough done that we hung it up. When I 'finished' it yesterday I was pretty happy about it-- the kids thought I was crazy. maybe i am.

wow! thats seriously a super cool wall hanging! how did you make that?!? did you do each individual word with your vinyl letter maker machine thing?? it looks like it would've taken forever but i seriously love it... not just sayin that cause you said i had to! :)
This makes me miss our play room. Ours was a little more girly with bright colors and wooden flowers, lol but love the way yours looks. CUTE AS ALWAYS :o) Im amazed at all the fun things you get done with 3 kids too!!!

That looks amazing. I clicked on it to make it big and look at all the details. And then I had to listen to Rocket Man, of course. Is it on canvas? Man, you are filling your walls with beautiful works of art lately!
We love rockets here too, but I should explain to others reading this. Dan teaches at the school system he graduated from and they are the "rockets". I'm glad you explained the art work. That is very cool how you did the words to the rocket man song. Yes, it looks like that would have taken awhile. Are those words all done on your vinyl cutter?
Okay, get with the program Am and tell us all HOW you did that canvas... We are waiting... all 7(as of right now) commentors are waiting! :)
