Target

I'm having an especially hard time feeling grateful this morning. Which is the exact reason why I decided to do a post anyway. What a great exercise-- to count our blessings. Sometimes it's hard when I'm tired, and kids are grumpy, and life is stressing me out. But I know I have a lot to be thankful for.

What is it about Target? Maybe it's because it's FAR away from my house? I have to drive 25 minutes to get there... it's a pain. But once I'm there-- they have EVERYTHING. Clothes, diapers, jewelry, cute kids clothes, deodorant, toys, a dollar section, chocolate. Man. I could just live there. And spend $100. On the morning I know I'm going to go to Target-- I literally wake up happy. (too bad I'm not going today-- I might have woken up in a better mood) I'm crazy. I'll admit. But I'm thankful for Target.

Amen. One is also 25 minutes from my house. . . for a few more weeks. I even thought this morning that I needed a little Target in my life right about now! Wish we could go together.

I love this!!! I mean...being thankful for your husband and kids is a given. Being thankful for Target...that is just fun and unique. I feel like I know you a little more now. Awesome! :)

Sorry you are feeling in such a limbo right now. I am looking forward to chatting with you next weekend. It's when life is limbo that faith is really put to the test...don't you think? So much easier said than done. I too am a huge planner. I hate it when I don't have control over every thing. Makes me a stressed basket case. So I'm thinking of you. Hang in there!

Amber, I LOVE this post as much as TARGET! I too agree with everything you said. It's kind of sad to say but that place, makes me HAPPY! The way cute stuff, the fact that they do have everything, and the of course the PEPSI (for me) & the POPCORN (for Hayden) Thanks for doing my hair, you're AMAZING. I am a very planned kind of person tooa and feel for you but you can do it. You're little but STRONG :O ) -Tiff Paul-

I'm thankful for Target too. It seems like their home decor is cute and reasonable in price. They always have a cute seasonal section also. And M&M's and moisturizer and gift bags and birthday and wedding cards and Burt's Bees etc etc etc.....It's fun to go there with you and Quinn and Hendrix and Veda. I'm into run on sentences today. Anyway, it's good to be grateful for our favorite places that make us happy.

It's Christmas at Target! That makes it even better. I couldn't resist picking up a roll of wrapping paper the other day. And boots for the kids. And cleaning supplies. And a dustbuster. And a baby gift...yep Target has everything. I can't believe you live so far away from one though - how do you survive?
